Hi, I’m Nicole. But you can call me Nicoleslaw. I started this blog as a way to track restaurants I’ve been to, and to share my food experiences. If you’re reading this you probably love food…maybe even as much as me! I created this blog to share my honest, relatable, and (in my humble opinion) funny reviews on restaurants in NYC and other notable food-cities I find myself eating in.

A short bio: I moved to NYC in the summer of 2015 after graduating a Master’s Program in Marketing in San Francisco. I’m 26 years old and grew up in London, Ontario, Canada. Before my move I was completing my Bachelor’s degree in Montreal, where I effectively learned how to read minds (after all, I am a psychology major), and survive in sub-arctic temperatures for months at a time (Montreal winters get at me). Other cities I’ve spent time in include: Melbourne, Australia where I studied abroad, and London, UK where I worked as a summer intern.

I am addicted to travel (& food, but that goes without saying), love to read, and constantly find myself a tourist in my own city. Additional irrelevant, fun facts: I can recite the aviation alphabet from memory (thanks Dad!), and can rap the entirety of Till I Collapse.
